Se analiza el compuesto Wereke, fitofármaco a base de Bidens áurea, Cecropia obtusifolia, Tecoma stans, Tecoma mollis y Cacalia descomposita como efecto hipoglucemiante en hiperglicemias clínicas y de laboratorio por la disfunción del pulmón, bazo e hígado, de acuerdo a la Medicina Tradicional China. Se utilizó la terapia acupuntural en función de puntos principales Pishu, Geshu y Zusanli. El uso rotativo de puntos auxiliares, Vejiga 49 (V49) Feishu y Chengjiang Riñón 24 (R24), Weishu y Fenglong Estómago 40 (E40) conforme a la diferenciación de los síntomas(9). La mezcla mencionada con el tratamiento acupuntural, disminuyó la polidipsia, la polifagia y la constipación, así como la poliuria, astenia y debilidad general. Se observó que al insertar en el punto Sanyinjiao Bazo 6 (B6) de los diabéticos, la acupuntura parece tener la propiedad de regular la secreción de insulina.(3) Se presentaron efectos indeseados como hiperglicemias no controladas por interrupción de las indicaciones dietéticas recomendadas y abandono del tratamiento por citas prolongadas. Consideramos que es necesario el acercamiento estricto al paciente que acude a la medicina alternativa y la difusión para el conocimiento de la misma.

Effects indeseados like hiperglicemias were not presented controlled by interruption of the recommended dietary indications and I abandon of the treatment for lingering appointments. We consider that it is necessary the strict approach to the patient that goes to the alternative medicine and the diffusion for the knowledge of the same one.
